The huge news is Mick Foley's apparent retirement from the World of Wrestling. Mick stated that he was retired from the WWF on a recent episode of TSN's Off the Record in Canada. Mick stated that he did not want to be known as the man who should have left while he could still walk. Mick basically stated that he is basically done with a regular in-ring wrestling schedule, but may return for another match or so sometime down the road, and would even like to take on a comissioner role, similar to Shawn Michaels. That would definitely be fun to watch. This definitely comes as a huge shock. It has been expected for a while that Mick Foley would retire, but definitely not this soon. Mick Foley will, without a doubt, still have a big impact on WWF television, even if he does not actually wrestle a match.
