WCW MONDAY NITRO
LIVE FROM: WILKES-BARRE, PENNSYLVANIA

Opening
Through phone conversation, an absent Kevin Nash appointed Jeff Jarrett as the acting commissioner. In the ring, Scott Steiner, Jeff Jarrett, and Scott Hall welcomed the Harris brothers as official members of the NWO. (Acting) Commissioner Jarrett appointed himself as Sid Vicious' opponent at SuperBrawl. He then booked a match with himself and the Harris brothers against Sid and two partners, that Jarrett would choose later in the program. Mark Madden joined the broadcast team for Nitro, stating that he paid Jarrett a little money under the table. Ric Flair arrived at the arena.

--J. Biggs was in the back talking to Big T and Stevie Ray. Arn Anderson (seeming to be irritated) told Terry Funk where David Flair was at.

Lash Leroux versus Evan Karagias w/Three Count *Cruiserweight Tournament*
Despite the efforts of the Backstreet....ummm...I mean Three Count, Lash advanced in the tournament with the Whiplash 2000.
Winner: Lash Leroux via pinfall

--The NWO forced a server to take the finger food back that she had brought up and told her to bring them back some lobster tail and fillet.

The Mamalukes (c) w/Disco Inferno versus David Flair/Crowbar w/Daffney *Tag Team Championship*
This street fight started in the back as Mene Gene was attempting to interview Flair and Crowbar. They took it outside in the snow, where the challengers engaged in a short snowball fight. Back in the ring, Big Vito hit a big splash on Crowbar, who was being held on a table by Disco Inferno and Johnny the Bull.
Winner: The Mamlukes via pinfall (Retain Tag Team Belts)

--Brian Knobbs, waving a wad of money was allowed entrance into the NWO office, being told that he must have known the password. There Jeff Jarrett agreed to book the Total Package against Fit Finlay. Jarrett then told Finlay what Knobbs had done, and told Finlay that he would be in the ring with the Total Package, but as a referee. He said that Knobbs would face Luger in the ring, as an irate Knobbs watched from his lockerroom. The NWO continually asked Jarrett who Sid's tag team partners would be.

--J. Biggs told Booker T that he could no longer use the music of "Harlem Heat" and that he had to drop the "T" from his name, saying that all of these things were copyright infringements on Harlem Heat. Stevie Ray told Booker that he needed to find his old "G.I. Bro" outfit, because by the time they were done with him, he was going to need it. The new Harlem Heat left Biggs alone, who began telling Booker that he was a fake. Midnight grabbed Biggs and threw him in the ring, where Booker started his attack. The new Harlem Heat hit the ring and left Booker and Midnight lying.

--Three Count attacked and chased Norman Smiley down a hallway in the building. The Screamin' One then hid himself in the Demon's casket, which began closing in on Smiley.

Kidman w/Torrie Wilson versus The Wall
Kidman won this rematch from Souled Out as Vampiro kicked Kidman in the back (who was ready to be chokeslammed by the Wall) who landed on the Wall for the win.
Winner: Kidman via pinfall

--Mene Gene interviewed Ric Flair. After stylin' and profilin' for the fans as only Flair can, the Nature Boy said that he turned down his appointment as WCW commissioner. He also said he was back and it was time to get WCW going again. He then called out Terry Funk. The Funker told Flair that he was jealous of a statement that Mick Foley made in his book where it was said that the Nature Boy would not make a decent sized pimple on the a$$ of Terry Funk. He then asked Flair to join him against the NWO. Funk also told Flair that he needed to teach David some respect. He then changed his view and said that he did not need Flair, and told him to just leave and run for governor of North Carolina. Flair told Funk that if Foley said that in his book that, he must not have watched television in the last 27 years, because he has more world titles than Funk has cows on his "chicken" ranch. After some more jaw jacking, the two began fighting, until security intervened. In the back, Jeff Jarrett said he had just found two partners for Sid Vicious. Sid later told Mene Gene that all Jarrett was trying to do was prolong the beating that he would receive at SuperBrawl.

--Lenny and Lodi told Ms. Hancock that they would no longer wear suits, and all that they were was eye candy to get her over in the first place. She told them that they should be lucky to have a job in the first place. They did not seemed thrilled to be working with WCW and said that they were going to go and talk to someone about getting their names straight.

Brian Knobbs (c) versus The Total Package
Fit Finlay was the referee for this non title match. Finlay walked away from the match after Elizabeth hit Knobbs with the ball bat. The Package then put Knobbs' hand in a chair and continually stomped on that chair. After the match, Luger once again brought up Sting and Hulk Hogan.
Winner: No Contest

--Norman Smiley emerged from the Demon's casket, wearing the face paint and outfit that the Demon wears. The Demon told security someone took his gear, and that someone needed to find it.

Shane Helms versus Norman Smiley
Helms tapped out to the Norman Conquest. The Demon and security chased Smiley through the crowd after the bell.
Winner: Norman Smiley via submission

--During the last match, it was announced that Hulk Hogan would be on Thunder.

--As Mene Gene was interviewing DDP and Kimberly, the Disco Inferno and the Mamalukes walked up from behind. Disco called Kimberly a bimbo, after she told Page that Disco had pinched her rear end. After being slapped by Kim, Disco was attacked by DDP. They fought through the crowd, and into the ring, where a referee started a match.

Diamond Dallas Page w/Kimberly versus Disco Inferno
With Kimberly cheering on every move, DDP put down Disco with the Diamond Cutter.
Winner: Diamond Dallas Page via pinfall

Sid Vicious/Terry Funk versus Jeff Jarrett/Harris Boys
The Nature Boy made his way to the ring, only to attack Funk. The NWO took the victory when Jarrett pinned Sid after a guitar shot.
Winners: The NWO via pinfall
