Monday Night Nitro Results
Tonight according to WCW.com, we will see Jeff Jarrett defend his US Title against Vampiro, Sid Vicious defend against the undefeated Tank Abbott, and The Luger/Flair connection will be in full force, along with Buff Bagwell, Dustin Rhodes and many more "Ringshaking" Surprises, All that, and certainly more, TONIGHT on Monday Nitro!
Nitro opens up with a video recap of Tank Abbott and Sid Vicious, and Jeff Jarrett, then clips of the Harris Boys dropping their H-Bombs, Ric Flair, Dustin Rhodes, Vampiro making the challenge to Flair, Flair heckling Hogan, the Flair/Luger connection, and more from Nitro and Thunder, more fun than organizing your cd's!
Earlier today, World Champion Sid Vicious arrived to the arena, and his opponent Tank Abbott arrived on an Iron Horse motorcycle while fans chanted TANK!
Mike Tenay talks to Jeff Jarrett backstage, Jarrett says he knew about Tank Abbott and Sid fighting, Jarrett says he knew about that match, and he doesn't care who wins, Jarrett guarantees a victory at Uncensored.
The World Tag Team Champions the Mamalukes come to the ring, Lane and Idol are shown backstage, and Miss Hancock comes up to them, Miss Hancock says it's time to teach them a lesson.
Match 1: World Tag Team Title Match: Lane/Idol vs. Mamalukes
The Mamalukes begin with 2 on 2 whipping, they send Lane and Idol into the ropes. Lane and Johnny fight, Johnny hits Lane with a wicked looking spin kick. Miss Hancock makes her way to the announce table, and joins them on the headsets, Tony acts very gratuitous to her. Johnny the Bull and Lane do a cross body block into each other and are both knocked out on the mat, Lane gets up, and tags in Idol, while Big Vito gets tagged in also. Idol takes both the Mamalukes out with clotheslines, and Idol rolls up Big Vito, only for a two count though. Miss Hancock says to hit her music, and she starts dancing on the table, Johnny the Bull and Lane start throwing money in front of Miss Hancock, referee Nick Patrick is so busy looking at Miss Hancock that he doesn't see Idol roll Big Vito up, Big Vito hits the Implant DDT on Idol, and covers, 1, 2, 3.
Winners: The Mamalukes
Big Vito says that if Miss Hancock wants to dance for all these people, she shoould dance for the Pizons. Miss Hancock starts dancing in the ring with the Mamalukes, but the Harris Brothers get in the ring, and start beating on the Mamalukes, they hits the H-Bomb on Johnny the Bull (A good finisher) and follow up with an H-Bomb for Disco Inferno, and they aren't done, they have han H-Bomb for Big Vito as well. The Harris Brothers say that should be a lesson for everyone.
Tony and Mark talk about tonight's matches. They also say that on good authority that Sting will be at Nitro tonight, but Mark says it's a big lie.
Backstage, Kid Cam shows Buff Bagwell talking to Miss Elizabeth, Buff says that he is Buff and Lex isn't, Liz chooses Buff over the Total Package. The Luger/Flair connection is shown watching that on TV, Lex says he should have believed Liz, and they walk out.
Bam Bam is shown giving his opinion on the Title match tonight. He says experience will prevail, Sid will win.

The Road to Spring Breakout is shown.
Hulk Hogan is shown talking backstage, and the minute he is shown, many fans boo (It was clearly audible). Hulk says that the cage, and holding the fans back wasn't the answer to his problems. Hulk says the answer is an Indian strap match, Hulk says he's the greatest wrestler of all times (More boos). Hulk says he will prove that Ric Flair will bow down to him for all eternity.
Mean Gene is in the ring, and welcomes Ric Flair to the ring. All of Team Package comes out. Gene talks to Ric Flair first. Flair says Hulkamania is dead, because the Total Package beat him, Hulkamania is not running wild, it's dead. Luger goes on to say that when him and Ric were beating down Hogan last week, but Sting had no guts, and wouldn't come out to fight. Luger then talks about how Buff Bagwell was hitting on Luger. Luger challenges Buff to a match tonight to see who the "Stuff" really is. Luger and Flair run down Minnesota, and CURT HENNIG appears on the entrance ramp, Hennig says this is gopher country. Hennig tells Luger to lose the Curt Hennig hairdo. Hennig says since he's Minnesota's greatest athlete, he challenges Flair to a match tonight. Flair says he's going to do the same thing to Hennig he did to his woman 20 years ago, slap him on the back of his head. Hennig says if he can't beat Flair, he will streak bare assed naked next Monday. . .Ick.
Tenay is talking to Booker backstage, Booker is pissed about the Torrie ordeal last week. Tonight, Booker says he's going to take a little steam out on Kidman. Kidman is also backstage with Torrie pissing and moaning about losing his camera again.

Tony is talking on a cell phone when we come back, and he says that Sting WILL be on the show tonight.
Gene is talking to Jarrett backstage, Jarrett says WCW is trying to screw him, he complains about having to fight Vampiro, he asks Gene who Vampiro is.
The lights go out, and Red Lights and fire, Booker comes out to a VERY respectable entrance (Better than Leave it to Beaver).
Match 2: Booker vs. Kidman w/ Torrie
Booker and Kidman circle and lock up, Booker powers Kidman into the corner, they separate. Kidman takes Booker down, Booker hits a belly to back suplex on Kidman, and follows up with a back elbow driving Kidman to the mat. Booker goes for a powerslam on Kidman, but Kidman hits a hurracanrana on Booker, Kidman down flips Booker, only a two count, Kidman slides around, Booker kicks him in the midsection and then connects with the Axe-Kick. The Harris Boys run into the ring, and give both Booker and Kidman H-Bombs, and Torrie goes down hard to the floor.
Winner: No Contest: Interference of the Harris Brothers
Mean Gene is backstage talking to Stevie Ray, Big T. Jay Biggs and the "Mystery Man" Jay Biggs says he wants to give Booker a freebie.
Lash Leroux puts his money on Sid Vicious in tonight's matchup.

Gene is talking to Norman Smiley backstage, he says Terry Funk was his inspiration, and since Funk is down, someone needs to help him, tonight it's not going to be Norman Smiley that's screaming, it's going to be screaming Dustin Rhodes.
Three Count is in the ring dancing and lip synching.
Match 3: Hardcore Title Match: Brian Knobbs vs. Three Count
Knobbs comes out with a hamper of goodies. Knobbs agrees to take all three of them on at once, Brian Knobbs uses the trash cans to take out Three Count right from the start. Moore and Helms attempt to take Knobbs down with a garbage can, but Knobbs gets a kendo stick and takes out Shane Helms. Knobbs stands alone in the ring as Three Count is laid out. Knobbs throws Helms and Karagis out of the ring, and motions for pitty city Shannon Moore. Knobbs throws Shannon Moore over the top rope. Knobbs goes outside, and is met with a garage can from Evan Karagis, but Knobbs shruggs it off, and goes under the ring to get a table. Knobbs sets the table up on the entrance ramp, Knobbs powerbombs Evan Karagis through the table. Shane Helms with a kendo stick on Knobbs, and Shannon Moore flies out of the ring with a trash can, it knocks Knobbs back, and he trips over the table. Three Count dogpiles Knobbs, and they get the pinfall.
Winner: New Hard-core Champion: Three Count
Vampiro is backstage, perched up on a rafter, and says that tonight, someone else will feel the pain, tonight Jeff Jarrett will be his victim.
Some rambunctious fans are outside chanting SID!

Gene is talking to Knobbs and Finlay backstage, Knobbs says it was his own ignorant mistake to lose to them little maggots. Finlay says that they are going to make Three Count's lives a living hell, Finlay says that they will take on Three Count in a Six-Man on Thunder, Knobbs says "BRING OUT THE DOG"...Any guesses? (Sabu).
Match 4: Norman Smiley vs. Dustin Rhodes
Norman and Rhodes circle, and Norman is the quick victim of pucnes from Rhodes, and Dustin follows up with an Eye Rake. Norman wont stay down however, Norman catches Rhodes and spanks him. Norman goes outside the ring and hits a hammer hit on Rhodes. Norman whips Rhodes into the ring edge. Tony announces that Terry Funk will meet Dustin Rhodes at the PPV. Norman hits his huge scoop slam on Dustin Rhodes, but American Dream 2000 hits a jumping clothesline on Norman. Outside the ring, Dustin Rhodes drops Norman over the steel guardrail. Rhodes attacks Norman on the broadcast table, and then throws him into the steel steps. Norman gets thrown into the ring, Dustin goes to the top rope and hits a lariat from the top, and gets the pin.
Winner: Dustin Rhodes
Dustin Rhodes hits Norman Smiley post match a few times with Norman's helmet.

Referee Nick Patrick picks Tank Abbott to win the match tonight.

Match 5: United States Title Match: Jeff Jarrett vs. Vampiro
Jeff Jarrett comes out with his women, but he sends them to the back. Vampiro comes out to a great pop.
Vampiro and Jarrett locks up, Jarrett hits a snap mare from the start, and they exchange a few takeovers, Vampiro just pushes Jarrett to the ground. Jarrett gets right up and gives Vampiro a kick and then some right hands. Vampiro misses a move off the top rope, the fight goes to the ring apron for a minute, then goes back inside the ring. Vampiro hits a big cross body on Jarrett but only gets a two count. Jarrett hits a short powerbomb on Vampiro, but once again, only a two count. Jarrett whips Vampiro into the ring, and hits a monkey flip on Vampiro, Jarrett goes up to the middle rope and harasses the fans. Jarrett goes for a pin, but only a two count. Vampiro goes into the ropes, but on the rebound, Jarrett locks a sleeper hold on Vampiro, Vampiro hits himself out of the hold, and snaps the sleeper on Jarrett Vampiro hits a rock bottom on Jarrett, but only gets a two count. Vampiro tries a sunset flip on Jarrett, but Jarrett grabs the ropes, Nick Patrick kicks Jarrett in the face, The Harris boys enter the ring, and Vampiro takes them out, Sid Vicious comes down to take care of the Harris Boys, Nick Patrick hits Vampiro with the belt, the bell rings, but Nick Patrick says it was only a Two Count, VAMPIRO KICKED OUT, Jarrett recieves a side suplex from Vampiro, Vamp signals he wants the belt, and goes to the top rope, he goes for a leg drop, but Jarrett moves, Jarrett hits the stroke. . .Vampiro once again shows he deserves to be a champ.
Winner: Jeff Jarrett
The Mamalukes pay a man backstage 20 dollars to deliver something to the Harris Brothers.
-Commercial Break-
During the commercial break, Fit Finlay was attacking Vampiro telling him about respect. He was beating respect into Vampiro.
The Nitro Girls are dancing, and David Flair comes out to dance with them. The Nitro Girls like it. Daffney is in the ring with David's crowbar, and she isn't happy, David Begs to her, and kisses her feet. David and Daffney make up.
Match 6: Cruiserweight Title Match: TAFKA Prince Iaukea vs. David Flair
Crowbar sits in for commentary (Which makes Mr. Tito happy, I'm sure).
Prince waves his finger at David Flair and then David starts dancing. David smacks Prince, Prince is stunned. Prince gets whipped into the ropes, and David Flair goes for the ten punches of death on Prince. Prince rolls out, and Daffney throws him back in the ring. Prince goes to work on David Flair. Crowbar leaves the announce table to interfere with Prince's top rope maneuver. Daffney and Paisley get into it on the outside of the ring while Prince kicks out at two, Daffney takes Paisley down, Prince hits the jumping DDT on David Flair in the ring, to remain the champion.
Winner: TAFKA Prince Iaukea
Backstage, the EMT's are helping Sid Vicious who has an oxygen mask on, and there is a broken guitar next to him.
-Commercial Break-
Backstage, the man makes the delivery to the Harris Boys. . .It's a dead fish.
Mean Gene is backstage, and says the medical examiners have deemed that Sid Vicious refrain from any strenuous physical activity. . .Sid comes into the picture, and he says first it's Jarrett, then Abbott, then Sid steps back in a dizzy fit, he says he'll see Tank Abbott in hell.
The Cat comes out, and dances around, and watches the James Brown fiasco on the monitor. Cat has new music this evening. The Maestro's piano business hits, and Maestro walks out with Symphony and Bubbles.
Match 7: Maestro vs. The Cat
Maestro attacks Cat promptly but is the victim of a back body drop, and then random kicks from the 3 Time Karate Champion. Cat shows some flashy moves and drops an elbow on Maestro. Maestro has to listen to some awful music, and Symphony starts playing Three Count over the speakers, Maestro grabs the stereo and hits Cat with it, covers and wins.
Winner: The Maestro
Backstage, Cut Hennig is walking about, as is Ric Flair.
Liz and Package are backstage, Package is panicking because they don't have his bat there.

Match 8: Curt Hennig vs. Ric Flair
Hennig starts off with HUGE Chops to Flair, Hennig hits a back body drop on Flair, and stomps on the side of Flair's head while he lays on the mat. Hennig works on the legs of Flair, in an attempt to take away the Figure Four. Flair then starts with some chops of his own, but Hennig turns it around, and gives some more HUGE chops to Flair. The fight goes to the outside of the ring when Flair flips over the top rope. But Flair climbs back up to the top turnbuckle, and Hennig grabs him and throws him into the center of the ring. Hennig goes up to the middle rope and gives Flair the ten punches of death. Hennig gives Flair a chop in the middle, Flair whips Hennig into the corner, and he hits the ref, knocking Nick Patrick out, Hennig hits the Hennigplex on Flair, and that brings the Total Package into the ring to kick Hennig, Hennig goes for a chair, but Nick Patrick takes it away. Flair rolls up Hennig, pins, and win. Looks like were going to see Hennig naked next week. Ew.

Match 9: Lex Luger vs. Buff Bagwell
Luger knees the midsection of Buff, Luger hooks a side headlock on Buff, Bagwell sends the total package in and runs him over, Bagwell hits a pair of dropkicks on the Package. Package waits on the apron, and hits a double axe handle on Buff, Package whips Buff into the guardrail, Package sends Buff into the announce table. Package chokes out Bagwell. Package throws Buff back into the ring, Luger hits a few elbow drops on Buff, Luger rolls Bagwell up, and only gets a two count. Luger works on the neck of Bagwell, the announcers speculate on who has the Package's bat, which just about confirms that Sting has it. Luger continues to keep the same neck hold on Bagwell, Buff calls to the fans, Luger jumps, Bagwell flips around and delivers a knee to the sensitive area of the package, Buff hits a swinging neckbreaker on the Package, Buff showboats, and Package momentarily comes back, but Buff hits a back elbow on the charging package. Buff covers Luger, but Package breaks the hold when Liz puts his leg on the rope. Flair is in, and Buff takes on Both men, Buff hits a jumping DDT on Luger, but Flair comes back and nails Buff from behind. , but HERE COMES STING! Sting hides beneath the apron, Sting's music starts, Sting hits the bat on Luger's head, Sting beats Luger down with the bat! Flair and Luger retreat, Sting and Buff embrace, Sting calls to the fans.
Winner: No Contest due to Flair's Interference.

Main Event: World Heavyweight Title Match: Sid Vicious vs. Tank Abbott
Tank Abbott comes to the ring on his motorcycle, and Night of Champions continues. Sid Comes out, and is by no means 100%, especially after the concussion he received from Jeff Jarrett's guitar shot.
Tank Abbott goes right for the head of Sid, he hooks him in a headlock. Tank has Sid down on the mat, Sid is just sitting there, he pulls himself up, Tank goes to work on the injured ribs of Sid. Tank picks Sid up on his shoulders and hoists Sid down to the mat. Tank stands on the back of Sid and pulls up on Sid's head, a bar fight move. Tank reclines on Sid, pulling back on his neck. Tank wont let go, but Sid starts to overpower, but Tank ends all that by just punching the back of Sid's neck. (Sign reads: "Nice Beer Gut Tank"). Tank yells at Sid in the corner, tells him Night Night. Sid is heaving. Tank goes for the ribs again. Tank disregards Sid, and Sid gets up and puts the sleeper hold on Tank, and gets Tank into the Crossface, Tank taps out!
