WWF Raw Report - October 18, 1999
Live from Ohio St. Univ.
- The Rock made his way to the ring to begin Raw. The Rock got the mic and said that at Survivor Series in November, he wants to face Triple H for the WWF Championship. Before the Rock could finish his comments, Stone Cold Steve Austin's music hit and Austin entered the ring! Austin said he doesn't like the idea of the Rock facing Triple H at the next pay per view, and he is the number one contender to the title, not the Rock. Austin then said he wants to take care of business in the ring now meaning he wants a fight! As they were about to brawl, Vince McMahon came to the ring and said that they have heared their points of view, and he wants to hear from Triple H and see what he says about all this. The champion came out and told McMahon that it doesn't matter what Vince does, he'll still hurt anyone that comes in his way. McMahon asked Triple H who he wants to face at the Survivor Series. As Triple H was about to talk, the Rock did his funny "it doesn't matter" thing! McMahon said that he knows what HHH is thinking, and it is he wants to face the Rock, or Austin, so McMahon decided to order Triple H to defend the WWF Championship against the Rock and Austin in a triple threat match at Survivor Series!
- X-Pac and Kane fought the Dudley Boyz. Buba didn't some funny thing making fun of Kane, but quickly got attacked by Kane starting the match. During the match, the Headbangers came to ringside to distract the Dudley's. Kane chokeslammed Buba for the win. After the match, the Headbangers mocked the Dudley's creating a brawl between the two teams! Backstage, the Acolytes and Mr. Hehges were playing cards. Howard Finkel was by Curtis's side, because I guess he's his stooge now. The Holly's were talked to Vince McMahon asking for a tag team title shot. Vince said they don't deserve the shot, but he'll give them the title shot. So it was scheduled for later, the Hollys vs. Rock and Mankind for the tag titles!
- The Big Bossman came out and challenged the Big Show to a hardcore title match. Backstage, Mula told Micheal Cole that she is happy to be the Women's Champion once again. Mea Young said some stuff to her, making her mad so she attacked her! Mea Young before challenged her to a women's title match! The Big Show accepted Bossman's challenge.
- In another sex theropy session for Mark Henry, the women asked Henry if he ever had a nice freindly hug. He hugged her in a nice way, and she jumped on him liking it! The Godfather fought Viceria. Mideon got on the ropes and distracted the Godfather allowing Viceria the win! Backstage, Curtis Heghes was seen continueing to loose in a card game to Faarooq! Mankind was seen looking for the Rock.
- Backstage, Mankind came in the Rock's locker room and told him they'll be fighting the Holly's later. He then gave the Rock a copy of his new book. The new Intercontinental Champion Chyna came to the ring with Miss Kitty dressed just like her! Chyna then challenged any man backstage to take her on for the title! Chris Jericho showed up! Jericho said he imparassed to be in the WWF with a women champion! As Jericho was speaking on the ropes, Chyna nailed him with the belt forcing Jericho to crash into the announcer's table! Jericho got up mad while Chyna stared him down leaving.
- The Bulldog fought Test in the next match. Test came to the ring with a trash can and revenge on his mind. During the match while Test was getting the trash can, the Mean Street Posse came to the ring and attacked Test. The Bulldog told them to stop and allowed him to strike Test with the can! The Bulldog and the Posse left together. Backstage, the Acolytes continued to win against Heghes in the card game! They got some of Heghe's stuff and Howard Finkel! Al Snow found Mick Foley's book in the trash!
- Backstage, Al Snow told Mankind that someone through
his book in the trash! It looked like Mankind was upset about it. Back in the ring, Val
Venis fought Al Snow.
After the money shot, Val Venis got the win. Backstage, Mankind was looking for the Rock.
- Backstage, Mankind went in the Rock's locker room pi**ed telling him that the book he wrote was his life, and he throws it away! The Rock said he doesn't know what Mankind's talking about. Mankind told off the Rock saying he doesn't want any part of him anymore! Back in the ring, the Big Bossman came to the ring to defend the Hardcore Title against the Big Show. However, backstage an officer was talking to Paul Wight giving him some bad news hurting Wight terriably. The referee in the ring decided to award the match to the Bossman.
- Jim Ross stated that the Big Show's father has just died from cancer. Back in the ring, the New Age Outlaws fought the Acolytes who introduced new entrance music, also who had Howard Finkel by their side dressed as one of them! During the match, the ropes fell off leaving two ropes on each side! At one point, Badd Ass Billy Gunn was busted open. Later, Finkel through a chair in the ring, but the Road Dog used it and smashed Bradshaw rolling him over and allowing the Road Dog to cover and win!
- Backstage, the Acolytes were torchering Finkel in the bathrooms! Micheal Cole introduced the Hardy Boyz, who won the ladder Terri services match at No Mercy. The Hardy's said that they are not the new Brood, and they just wanna be known as the Hardy Boyz. Edge and Christian came to the ring and said at No Mercy, everyone gave both of them a standing ovation. They said they came out here in respect. They shook hands in respect after it. Terri Runnels then came to the ring with Gangrel! Gangrel got the mic and said while they were at the hotel sleeping off their bruises he was up all night with Terri! Edge, Chritian, and the Hardy's both attacked him with Terri laughing! On GTV, the Bossman gave the police offer money who was the one who tricked the Big Show into beleving his father passed away!!
- The Rock came to the ring with his tag belt. Mankind
came to the ring looking very upset without his title! Mankind then sat on the stairway
not paying attention to the match. The Holly's then came down and fought the Rock with
Mankind continueing to sit down. Mankind got up and down and whole match. Triple H came to
the ring and pedigreed the Rock allowing the Holly's to become the new tag champs! Mankind
walked off and didn't do anything. Austin came out and attacked Triple H throghing him in
the ring allowing the Rock to deliver the rock bottom to him! He was about to do the
people's elbow, but Austin stopped him and gave him the bird and stunned HHH. Rock and
Austin starred each other down as Raw went off!
