WWF Raw Report - January 17,
2000
Live from New Heaven, CT
- Cactus Jack made his way to the ring to open Raw. Foley said that Triple H made Mankind mad, and deep down in Mankind, there is one touch SOB, and Cactus Jack was forced to come! Foley then reminded Triple H that it was in Madison Sqaure Garden in September of 1997, when Cactus Jack came back and destroyed Triple H. Cactus told HHH that he can't wait for the Rumble this Sunday so he wants a little peice of Triple H now, calling out the "game". Triple H came out himself and told Foley that at the Royal Rumble, he will bring an even worst side of himself, and Triple H will be meaner then hell. Cactus thought that was fine, but there are thousands of fans that want to see him hurt Triple H. HHH started to walk to the ring, and invited the rest of DX down. DX and HHH then attacked Cactus Jack until the Rock's music hit and the Rock ran down, but before he could help, the Big Show did a beating on the Rock and then got a peice of DX for some reason. The Acolytes came down and beat on the Outlaws! Cactus Jack was getting help from all angles!
- In a Hardcore Championship match, the Big Bossman defended against Test. The match immedialy went backstage into the bathrooms and more. Test's noise was bleeding throughout the match. Back in the ring, Prince Albert came out but got nailed in the head from the Bossman!! Later, Prince Albert got in the ring and attacked the Bossman, and Test took Bossman's knight stick and nailed both Bossman and Prince Albert! Test in the new Hardcore Champion. Backstage, DX was talking and HHH said they will earn respect tonight, and the Outlaws will destroy Rock and Big Show, and X-Pac and Triple H will face the Acolytes. X-Pac wasn't happy about it, but Stephanie told him to "trust" them!
- The Bossman backstage told an announcer that he is going to get revenge on Prince Albert sometime later on. The Godfather and D'Lo Brown fought Edge and Christian. During the contest, one of the ho'z was knocked off the ropes and in the end, D'Lo got the win. The Godfather said he is in a good mood so he is allowing Edge and Christian the whole night with the ho'z! The girls went to Edge, but he avoided it because he is engaged! Backstage, the Bossman was seen attacking Prince Albert and through him in a locker room where Tori was! This means Kane!!
- Kurt Angle came to the ring. During his entrance, Tori came in Stephanie and Triple H's locker room and asked for a Kane/Albert match, and she immedialy got it! Triple H told Stephanie that he has a surprise for her. Angle did his ushal intro, and he has a mystery oppenent, which was Steve Blackman. Stephanie wasn't happy about this. During the match, the Bulldog came down and nailed Blackman with a kendo stick allowing Angle the win! Backstage, Stephanie was not surprised of what happened!
- Terri, the Kat, BB, Luna, and Jackqueline all came to the ring. Jerry Lawler talked about this Sunday's simsuit competition and all women talked ecept Ivory. Ivory said all of the fans were perverts and she isn't do the simsuit thing Sunday, but Luna and Jackie told her that if they have to do it, she must! Then they all ganged up on Ivory and stripped her down! Officials came down to break it up, but Jerry said nothing was wrong! lol..Mean Young came out and said she wants to show every what they're money will get on Sunday, and she wanted to show her "puppies" but Mark Henry, Moolah, and Harvey came down to stop her!
- Triple H and X-Pac fought the Acolytes. Stephanie sat at ringside for commentary. During the contest, the Outlaws ran down and attacked the Acolytes. DX then all teamed up on the Acolytes! In a special update report, Micheal Cole reported from San Antonio, TX where Stone Cold Steve Austin had successfull surgery earlier on. Doctor Youngblood, Austin's surgeon held a press conference saying that Austin did well in the surgery, and when he is healed and the bone is solid, it is possible that Austin will be able to come back to WWF television.
- DX was celebrating backstage and Triple H said he is glad Austin had successfull surgery, because when he gets back in the WWF, he'll suffer the same beating the Acolytes did! The Rock did a long interview congratulating Austin on successful surgery, then saying that the Big Show is not a jabroni, but he is a rooty poo bag of monkey crap! The Rock said that later, he wants nothing to do with the Big Show, and at the Rumble, he'll through Show's @$$ over the ropes and 28 other jabroni's over the rope, and he will head to WrestleMania, and be, once again, the WWF Champion.
- Jeff Hardy fought Bub Bub Ray Dudley in the next match! During the match, Terri got on the ropes and D-Von took her down, but got attacked by Matt for his actions. In the end, Jeff Hardy got the win! The Dudley's then destroyed the Hardys after the match, and put Matt Hardy through a table with Jeff Hardy on it! Bub Ba went crazy! Backstage, Hardcore was talking to Crash asking him why Jericho would defend the title against Rakishi, but Hardcore made a funny comment, saying why is talking to Crash, when he doesn't know anything. Chyna was talking to "the Kat" saying Jericho is probably going to loose the title for both of them, but Kitty thought Rakishi would destroy Jericho.
- Rakishi Phatu came to the ring and told Too Cool to go back because he can do it himself. Jericho made his big entrance and had his own mic with Raw is Jericho on it! Jericho made some comments toward Rakishi, then the match began. Near the end, Rakishi was gonna do the splash off the ropes but Hardcore and Crash came down and attacked him. Then Chyna came down and low blowed Rakishi and got hit for it. Chyna almost got the big splash but Hardcore hit Rakishi with a chair before it! Crash got piledrived and then Too Cool's music hit. Rakishi tried to leave, but nope! Gotta "bust and move" and "get down and dance"!!
- Kane fought Prince Albert and in the end, Kane chokeslamed Albert for the win. After the match, Prince Albert told Kane that he likes to be dominated by women and so does he. No one knew what that meant. Backstage, Cactus Jack was talking to the Rock telling him that he should work with the Big Show and solve their problems because DX attacks in packs. The Rock said he doesn't care about the Big Show or DX, but he'll "work with the Big Show"!
- The Outlaws came out. Then the Big Show and the Rock. However, the Rock came to the ring and attacked his partner the Big Show! Triple H, X-Pac, and Stephanie sat on the ramp. The Rock jumped back in the ring and wrestled pretty much the whole match while the Big Show watched at ringside. Later on, the Rock nailed Show with a chair and the Outlaws were able to get the win! The Rock did the people's elbow on the Big Show at the end of the show, and DX loved it!
