RVD Fractures Ankle!
Rob Van Dam, the ECW World Television Champion, suffered a left ankle fracture last night at ECW's house show from Orlando, Florida. Apparently, the injury occurred early in the match against Rhino while Van Dam attempted a baseball slide onto his opponent.

Van Dam, though, continued the match anyway. Backstage after the contest, Van Dam iced the ankle down and had X-rays taken on the injured area. The X-rays showed that there was indeed a break, and a cast was thus applied to the spot. In about a month, the cast is expected to be removed.

Van Dam will be going through several weeks of therapy but will return to the ring shortly thereafter
