Interview: Sid Vicious and Chris Benoit
Vicious told Hall and Nash that they could not win the war that they started. Chris Benoit
said he agreed with Hall that he was the King of the Ladder Matches ... for now. Benoit
said that what goes up must come down, and The Crippler will come down hard on Hall,
Sunday at Starrcade. They challenged The Outsiders to a match right then, but Curt Hennig
came out with a message from the Powers That Be. Hennig said that Sid and Benoit had to
wrestle each other later in the night or they would be suspended for six months.
Juventud Guerrera has come back to... well, he joined Mike Tenay and Scott Hudson at ringside after addressing the crowd by the wrong name... again.
Backstage, Diamond Dallas Page was attacked by Sting as he was lacing up his boots.
Backstage, DDP walked through the back halls searching for Sting.
Buff Bagwell d. Vampiro
As soon as the match began, Oklahoma made his way to the commentating table. Buff
delivered a monkey flip, but as Vampiro landed on his feet, he blasted Buff with a
clothesline. Vampiro went for a hurracanrana but Bagwell dropped him down into a sitting
powerbomb. (Aaron Neville was shown sitting in the crowd.) As Vampiro went after Oklahoma,
Dr. Death came out, followed by Jerry Only. As Vampiro climbed back into the ring,
Oklahoma caught him low with a bottle of BBQ sauce, sending him to the canvas. This
allowed Bagwell to deliver the Blockbuster for the win. After the match, Dr. Death
attacked Vampiro outside of the ring.
Backstage, DDP still looked everywhere for Sting.
Interview: The Artist Formerly Known As Prince Iaukea
with Paisley
Mean Gene told the AFKA Prince Iaukea that if he defeated Evan Karagias tonight it would
be a huge win for him. Paisley told Gene that they would win and party like it's... 2000.

Non-title Match
Karagias came to the ring with his newest squeeze, Spice of the Nitro Girls. Karagias
delivered a springboard bodypress from the middle of the top rope, only getting a
two-count. Madusa came to ringside, pushed Spice, but than when after Paisley as Evan was,
uh, talking to her. As all three girls got in the ring, Karagias tried to break up the
ruckus. As he was distracted, Prince came up from behind with a sunset flip, pinning the
Cruiserweight Champion in this non-title match. Karagias tried to calm Madusa down but was
treated to a slap in the face instead. Spice left the ring, consoling Evan.
Backstage, DDP found Sting and attacked him. As they brawled, another Sting appeared. DDP pulled off his wig, revealing what seemed to be The Total Package.
"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Midnight d. Perry
Saturn and Asya with The Revolution
The Revolution came out to the ring to a chorus of boos. As Douglas started to talk, the
lights went off and, when they came back on, Midnight stood in the ring. Duggan's music
played and he ran in to save the day, clearing the ring. With the match finally underway,
Duggan destroyed Saturn, throwing him all over the ring. Douglas joined Tenay and Hudson
at ringside. Asya tagged in and Duggan was more than happy to let Midnight have at it with
the Revolution manager. Booker T and Stevie Ray made their way to ringside to support
Midnight and Hacksaw. Hacksaw tagged in and leveled Saturn with the football tackle.
Midnight was thrown from the ring and tossed back in by Stevie Ray, which Booker took
offense to. Inside, Duggan fought off the Revolution and got the win after a 2x4 shot on
Saturn. After the bout, The Revolution attacked Duggan until Aaron Neville came from the
crowd, grabbed the 2x4 and ran them off.
Interview: David Flair
As Mean Gene told David Flair to stay calm during the interview, Flair, petting his
headless teddy bear, freaked out, telling Gene to never say that again.
Backstage, Sting, with bat in hand, was shown looking for The Total Package.
Hardcore Title Match
No Contest: David Flair vs. "Screamin" Norman Smiley
Flair charged at Smiley with the crowbar, but Norman was able to block it with a garbage
can lid. Flair took a trashcan over his own head. As Flair and Smiley beat each other
senseless, Meng came to the ring, chasing Norman out, tearing up the headless teddy bear
in the process. Flair, devastated by the loss of his headless friend, scooped up the
insides of the bear and ran to the back.
Backstage, Sting was shown on his way to the ring.
"Screamin" Norman was seen running for his life through the parking lot, trying to get away from Meng.
No Contest: Sting vs. The Total Package
Sting got on the mic and challenged Package to come out right then and fight. Package,
still in full Sting garb, ran in and the two went at it. Elizabeth came to ringside to
watch the action. Sting delivered two big Stinger Splashes, but on the third attempt, was
met with a boot to the face. TTP brought the bat into the ring, but Liz grabbed it, trying
to stop him. Sting caught Package low and put him in the Torture Rack. As he swung around,
Package's legs hit Liz, knocking her to the canvas. Sting let go to check on her and was
attacked by Package with the bat.
Backstage, Sting walked away from the paramedics to search for The Total Package. Package was shown packing his car and leaving the arena.
Dr. Death Steve Williams with Oklahoma d. The Wall with
Berlyn
The Doc and The Wall tested each other's power with big shoulder blocks, abruptly turning
into a pure fight. Chavo Guerrero Jr. was shown trying to sell his products in the crowd.
As Doc had The Wall in the corner, Oklahoma took off his boot to use on the former
bodyguard. Berlyn stopped him and took the boot himself, using it on Dr. Death. The
referee disqualified The Wall, who punched Berlyn for causing him the loss.
Backstage, Dustin made his way down the back hall looking for his hat.
A clip was shown from earlier in the day of Buzzkill getting a petition signed by the fans. Only one problem ... he didn't know what the petition was for.
No Contest: Curt Hennig with Shane vs. Dustin Rhodes
Dustin came out and defended his father name, telling Jeff Jarrett that come Starrcade,
Dustin would be his daddy. Rhodes fought off Hennig and set up Shane in the corner, giving
him a low kick, making him an instant soprano. Rhodes' music started again and a figure
dressed in Dustin's ring garb flew on a cable to the ring. It was Jarrett and he blasted
Rhodes with the guitar. The Chosen One and Hennig beat Dustin to a pulp, leaving him lying
on the canvas.
Interview: Jeff Jarrett
Jarrett told Mean Gene that tonight, he beat Rhodes with his own gimmick and on Sunday, he
would beat him at his own game.
Outside, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper was shown arriving in a limo.
Sid Vicious and Chris Benoit d. Curt Hennig, La Parka,
Shane and Creative Control
Sid came out and challenged The Powers That Be to a match. Hennig made his way to the
stage and told them that they would have to fight the whole PTB establishment. Sid dropped
Shane with a powerbomb and La Parka with a chokeslam. Benoit brought a ladder into the
ring, but it was used against him. As Sid went for another powerbomb, this time on
Patrick, Hennig and Gerald used the ladder on him, causing a disqualification.
Interview: Roddy Piper
Piper told Gene that he was going to be the gatekeeper outside of the cage in the House of
Pain Match later in the night.
Chris "Champagne" Kanyon with Mr. Biggs d.
Diamond Dallas Page
Kanyon said that no one could take on Champagne. DDP's music played and the match was
underway. Kanyon's manager, Mr. Biggs, took over Scott Hudson's spot at the announcer's
table. In the ring, the former Triad members fought each other toe to toe, each knowing
the others moves and counters. Mr. Biggs attempted to interfere, but was knocked from the
apron. DDP delivered a Diamond Cutter but, as the referee wasn't looking, David Flair
nailed Page in the head with the crowbar. Kanyon pinned a knocked out DDP for the win. Bam
Bam Bigelow came in but was hit in the head with a champagne bottle by Kanyon.
Backstage, Creative Control tried to stop Piper from going to the ring, but were beaten by the Rowdy one who branded a pipe in hand. Piper told the production crew to play his music when he said.
Backstage, Mean Gene stood outside The Outsiders locker room, reporting that Scott Hall was attacked a few moments ago.
House of Pain Match - World Tag Team Title Match
Kevin Nash d. Bret Hart and Goldberg
With Scott Hall knocked out in the back, Big Sexy was forced to defend the tag straps
without his partner. As Goldberg made his way down the back hall, Nash beat on Hart in the
cage while Creative Control and Jarrett attacked Piper outside. Goldberg came out and CC
ran to the back. Goldberg and Piper entered the cage and both attacked Nash. Jarrett came
in and blasted a guitar over the head of Piper. As Jarrett smashed a second six-stringer
over Goldberg's head, he was met with a spear. Nash caught Goldberg with a lead pipe,
sending the monster to the mat. The Chosen One and Big Sexy handcuffed Piper, Hart and
Goldberg to the cage and proceeded to destroy them with Roddy's lead pipe. After Nash and
Jarrett left the cage, Goldberg broke free from the handcuffs as Thunder went off the air.
